Job description
Bring a differentiated strategy to the institutional market
Our client's All-Cap Value Strategy is a concentrated, high-conviction equity strategy with consistent outperformance — 7 of the last 9 years — strong risk-adjusted returns, and roughly $12.5B of remaining capacity. The track record is built and the capacity is real. What's needed is the person who can convert institutional access into allocations at scale.
This role drives institutional adoption of the strategy by securing placements with major platforms, consultants, and asset allocators — then advancing it through formal diligence and allocation processes. The early mandate is focused and singular: scale this one strategy. Additional proprietary strategies follow only once this capacity is being deployed. This is not a generalist distribution seat, and success is measured by meaningful AUM growth, not broad activity.
The compensation reflects that focus: a modest base paired with uncapped, front-loaded commission, built for someone who would rather earn on what they bring in than collect a salary for activity.
What makes this role unique?
A differentiated product at scale. A concentrated, high-conviction strategy with a documented record and ~$12.5B of remaining capacity — a rare combination to take to market.
Access converts directly to earnings. Uncapped, front-loaded commission means your ceiling is set by the mandates you close.
High autonomy, focused mandate. You own the approach end to end, against a single strategy, without the noise of a sprawling product shelf.
What you will do
Drive institutional adoption of the All-Cap Value Strategy by securing placements with platforms, consultants, and asset allocators.
Leverage existing relationships to access decision-makers at firms like Fidelity, Schwab, and pension consultants.
Advance the strategy through formal diligence and allocation processes, managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
Lead institutional meetings and convert a focused set of large opportunities into funded mandates.
Operate with high autonomy, bringing both relationships and a clear plan for turning access into allocations.
The ideal candidate
Institutional relationship depth and access. Active relationships with decision-makers across platforms, consultants, and allocators — with immediate, actionable access rather than a theoretical network. You can point to specific firms, roles, and recent engagement.
Institutional sales-cycle execution. A demonstrated record of advancing and closing large mandates through complex diligence over extended timelines.
Investment strategy positioning. The ability to articulate performance drivers, portfolio construction, and competitive positioning with precision — adapting to the audience while keeping technical credibility.
Pipeline focus and conversion discipline. A structured approach to managing a concentrated pipeline of high-value opportunities and carrying them to allocation, without relying on volume.
Comfort with performance-based compensation. A track record of thriving in variable-comp, upside-oriented roles.
